Fall is here and it feels quite nice. I am a big fan of the fantastic fall colors, and I love to update my closet every year. During fall hiking is one of my favorite work outs – hiking in the mountains can be really tough during the hot summers, but during fall it is perfect.

Banana pancakes is a breakfast that is healthy, clean and rich on protein – great for people with an active lifestyle. Next time you have some extra time in the morning – try it – and you will not regret it! I always make banana pancakes on the weekends and I have come up with what I think is the perfect recipe. Here, I want to share it with you – so here is my favorite banana pancake recipe!
Banana Pancakes – a Morning Protein Boost
Banana pancakes can be made in several different ways, I like them not too sweet so I use the bananas as the sole ingredient for sweetness (if you want them extra sweet of flavored – add a date or some raw vanilla powder).
Banana Pancakes – Ingredients & how to make them
All you need (for 2 portions) is:
2 bananas (the more ripen the sweeter)
1 table spoon of Hemp protein (not necessary – but great for days of heavy workouts)
Butter or coconut oil to fry in
Mix bananas, eggs and hemp protein in a bowl. Put a frying pan on a medium level (not too hot as they tend to get burned). Put a small amount of butter or coconut oil in a frying pan and add a small amount (like american pancakes) of batter in a pan. Let it fry on one side until the the surface starts to get bubbly and solid – turn and wait until ready.
Serve with greek yogurt, sliced fruit and berries – and for extra luxury coffee and a green juice!
As an active person who often goes to the gym, hikes, runs etcetera, I know how hard it can be to get time to work on your movement and flexibility. I have always been interested of yoga and my body is used to stretch for a few hours every week. All though I am well aware of the difficulties to make time for the stretching and flexibility exercises that are necessary when you work out a lot. I recently found out about a great solution for this – ROMWOD.

ROMWOD & why it is different from yoga
Romwod is not comparable to a yoga class. I see Romwod as an addition to you daily training regardless of the type of training you have been doing. One of the most important differences for many people is that yoga usually require you to invest at least 60-90 minutes of your day. Romwod’s daily sessions are 15-20 minutes, with one exception – the weekly “warrior session” on Thursdays that requires around 45 minutes of your time.
As some of you know – I am on vacation in Alcossebre at the moment (more about Alcossebre soon) and I have been hiking, swimming, weight lifting, done yoga for a week. Every afternoon I have managed to invest circa 15 minutes to Romwod – and I can feel results after a week.
